Performance
- This unit can monitor speed of a linear motion of at least 1".
- The unit monitors speed via the timing of light beam interruption with a small
sheetmetal flag attached to the linear motion device being monitored.
- The timing is accurate to 1 microsecond.
The Micromonitor will display:
- Forward and reverse speed
- Number of strokes (both directions or each direction)
- Speed is indicated in: inches per second (IPS) w/ 0.01 inch per second resolution
- Speed range is: 0.05 to 30 inches per second (IPS)
The Micromonitor will monitor the speed and indicate an alarm on the following
conditions:
- Too Fast (user defined limits for each direction)
- Too Slow (user defined limits for each direction)
- Number of strokes exceeded
Typical Uses
- Monitor the speed of hydraulically operated equipment.
- Monitor the speed of automatic screen printers (squeegee speed).
